MCCANNON
Mr. and Mrs. Willis B. McCannon of Sugar Grove will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 4, 1992. They will be honored at an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Community House.
Wills B. McCannon and Grace Gertrude Presler were married April 4, 1942, at First Methodist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Willis was a veterinarian until he retired in 1980. Grace was a Sugar Grove librarian until she retired in 1980. They have lived in this area for 47 years.
The McCannons have three children and four grandchildren. Their children and their children's spouses are Michael and Karen McCannon of Sugar Grove, Gary and Willa Bretthauer of Yorkville, and Mary McCannon of Oak Park.
