Description
158 Maple Street, Sugar Grove, IL
In January 1875, a special town meeting was called to decide where to build a new Town Hall after the old Town House burned in 1874. The new Town Hall was build where the Sugar Grove Community Building now stands. By the mid 1920s, the Town Hall was too small for the many activities held there, and it was in disrepair. It was sold and moved to 158 Maple Street and remodeled in to a home.
