This was also called the Employee Dormitory. In the late 1950s it became the Special Treatment Unit, aka Cottage 19, when kids were moved into it after it was remodeled for Henry Gottwald and his study. It was as far north as you could go on the property. It was near the Storehouse and west of the Boiler House. It is not part of the original construction and was built around 1930 along with the second phase of buildings that included the Fire Hall and Central School. At that time housing within the complex was necessary. As roads were improved and cars more practical it wasn't needed for that purpose any more.
