The Southeast Trail was the way I used to enter the grounds almost everytime after I was arrested by the Powerhouse. I would park at Pheonix Lake and cut across Five Mile Road west of the railroad under pass.
It was a much longer way to get in but never had issues with getting caught. It always seemed like a path or road may have existed at one time. In fact it did. There was a finger of land that led up to Cottage C. We would have to jump over a small creek at the low spot.
